BlackRock Launches Stablecoin Reserve Fund BRSRV: Bringing Short-Term U.S. Treasuries to Solana, Ethereum, and Tempo
Original Compiled by: TechFlow
TechFlow Overview: BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, is putting “money” on-chain. This Monday, BlackRock launched BRSRV, a tokenized money market fund designed specifically for stablecoin reserves, and simultaneously issued on-chain shares of its existing Treasury fund, BSTBL. Unlike previous launches that were only on Ethereum, the ownership records now include Solana and Stripe-affiliated blockchain Tempo, with Securitize serving as transfer agent, wallets requiring whitelisting and KYC binding. The fund invests only in cash, short-term U.S. Treasuries, and overnight repos, explicitly avoiding any 加密貨幣 assets, with a minimum initial investment of $3 million—it serves as a compliant stablecoin reserve asset under the GENIUS Act and further pushes BlackRock’s tokenization narrative, which began with BUIDL in 2024, deeper into institutional waters.

BlackRock Launches 代幣ized Money 市場 Fund for Stablecoin Reserves, Solana Added for the First Time
BlackRock is expanding its business to Solana, launching a money market fund designed specifically for stablecoin reserves and adding the blockchain to its roster of tokenized investment products.
On Monday, the world’s largest asset manager introduced the BlackRock Daily Reinvestment Stablecoin Reserve Vehicle (BRSRV) and simultaneously issued tokenized on-chain shares of its existing BlackRock Select Treasury-Based Liquidity Fund (BSTBL).
“Cash remains a foundational building block for investors, corporations, and financial institutions,” said Jon Steel, BlackRock’s Global Head of Product and Platform for Cash Management, in a statement. “As demand grows for high-quality reserve assets to back stablecoins and other tokenized financial products, these funds provide clients with more options for accessing and utilizing money market fund investment solutions across both traditional and digital markets.”
On-Chain Ownership Now on Solana, Ethereum, and Tempo
In a prospectus filed with the U.S. Securities and 交換 Commission (SEC) on Friday, BlackRock stated that ownership records are maintained on Solana, Ethereum, and Tempo — with investors holding shares through approved wallets managed by transfer agent Securitize.
“The Fund issues on-chain shares through a permissioned system that operates in conjunction with one or more public, permissionless blockchains; as of the date of this prospectus, these chains include Ethereum, Tempo, and Solana, and may include other supported networks in the future,” BlackRock wrote.
The fund invests exclusively in cash, short-term U.S. Treasury securities, and overnight repurchase agreements collateralized by U.S. Treasuries. BlackRock emphasized that the fund does not invest in any crypto assets.
“The Fund will continue to invest in accordance with Rule 2a-7 under the Investment Company Act of 1940 and the terms of this prospectus,” BlackRock wrote. “The Fund will not invest in any digital assets, including any virtual currencies.”
$3 Million Minimum Investment, Targeting Compliant Reserves Under the GENIUS Act
Wallets must be whitelisted and linked to verified identities, allowing the transfer agent to restrict transfers or, in certain circumstances, freeze, revoke, or reissue tokenized shares. The fund also carries a $3 million minimum initial investment.
BlackRock said the fund is structured to qualify as an eligible reserve asset under the GENIUS Act (the U.S. law governing payment stablecoins). The prospectus also notes that future regulatory changes could impact whether stablecoin issuers can continue to use the fund as a reserve asset, and that blockchain outages or smart contract defects could also disrupt transactions.
From BUIDL to BRSRV: BlackRock’s Tokenization Landscape
The launch builds on BlackRock’s broader tokenization strategy. The company launched the tokenized money market fund 建築工業設計聯盟 in 2024 年 3 月, which now manages over $2.6 billion in assets.
Following the passage of the GENIUS Act, BlackRock has joined the ranks of Morgan Stanley and Fidelity, both of which have also launched products for stablecoin reserve management.
Epilogue: When “Shadow Banking” Meets On-Chain Settlement
From BUIDL to BSTBL to BRSRV, BlackRock has, in less than two and a half years, progressively moved money market funds—the “cash hub” of traditional finance—onto the blockchain, expanding from Ethereum to Solana and Tempo. For stablecoin issuers, this means a compliant, transparent, on-chain-settled reserve asset channel is taking shape. For the entire RWA sector, the continued commitment of the asset management giant is pushing “on-chain Treasuries” from proof-of-concept toward institutional-grade infrastructure. When the largest pools of money begin to flow in token form, the underlying plumbing of finance may well be quietly being rewritten.
Original Source: Wall Street CN Samsung Electronics delivered a historic quarterly report with a 19-fold surge in profit, only to see its stock price plunge sharply on the day of the announcement. It’s not that the performance was insufficient; rather, the market had already priced in “perfection” – the earnings release merely served as a signal for capital to exit. On July 7, a Wall Street CN article reported that Samsung Electronics’ second-quarter operating profit soared approximately 19 times year-over-year to 89.4 trillion won (about $58.4 billion). This not only set a new quarterly record but also surpassed Nvidia’s operating profit of $53.536 billion in the previous quarter, making Samsung the world’s most profitable company on a quarterly operating profit basis. Revenue doubled to 171 trillion won, both figures exceeding…
