Bitget Research Institute: TON ecosystem users play an average of 5 T2E games, and about 86% of respondents said they ar
Bitget Research Institute recently released a Telegram T2E game user survey report. By analyzing the feedback from nearly 10,000 users, it deeply explored the most popular game types in the TON ecosystem, users gaming habits, and commonly used decentralized wallet tools. This report provides valuable insights into understanding user behavior in the TON ecosystem.
This survey collected 10,534 valid responses by placing a questionnaire on Telegram. As the number of Telegram users approaches 1 billion, games like Hamster Kombat are also emerging rapidly. This survey shows that most Telegram game users have a lot of free time. They are keen on task-based games that exchange time for benefits, especially games with simple operation, low investment cost and visible daily returns.
In terms of user game preferences, survey data shows that about 86% of respondents said they were playing Hamster Kombat, indicating that the game has a considerable market share in the TON ecosystem. Tapswap and Blum followed closely behind, with user proportions reaching 79% respectively. Other popular games include Yescoin and Catizen, which are also among the top five popular games. It is worth noting that when asked how many Telegram games they play, more than half (54%) of users reported playing up to five games, showing a high degree of user overlap between popular games.
Decentralized wallets that support the TON ecosystem are an important tool for users to play Telegram games. The survey found that 41% of users said that friend recommendations are the most important source of information for them to choose decentralized wallets, highlighting the key role of Word of Mouth (WOM). In addition, 31% and 27% of users learned about decentralized wallets through the Telegram community and the games they are playing, respectively.
In terms of specific usage preferences, mobile apps have an absolute advantage, which is different from traditional Web3 users who prefer to use browser plug-ins. This trend shows that Telegram and its games have brought a large number of new users to the crypto industry, thus changing user behavior habits. This also explains why Metamask is not the preferred wallet for Telegram game users. On the contrary, Trust Wallet and Bitget Wallet have become the most popular wallet tools, with usage rates of 71% and 68% respectively.
Alvin, COO of Bitget Wallet, said: The ترقی of T2E games in the TON ecosystem deserves the attention of the entire industry. These developers have achieved unprecedented growth, and many users have gained tangible benefits through T2E games. We are honored to be the first decentralized wallet to fully support the TON ecosystem. In order for users to conveniently trade TON ecosystem assets and experience TON ecosystem games and applications, we have supported popular applications such as Catizen, Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, and Yescoin. At the same time, in close cooperation with the TON ecosystem, we have also introduced a gas-free interactive experience. These innovations will help the TON ecosystem and its applications lower the experience threshold to welcome more users who have never experienced the encrypted world and become a pioneer of Web3.
Through this survey, Bitget Research Institute not only revealed the behavioral characteristics of game users in the TON ecosystem, but also provided the industry with valuable market insights, which will help optimize future products and servبرفs. The continued development and user growth of the TON ecosystem will bring more innovation and opportunities to the gaming and crypto industries.
