The ZK-native protocol QED released a new ZK opcode proposal, OP_CHECKGROTH 16 VERIFY. This proposal makes it possible to build various applications on the Dogecoin network, including DeFi, NFT, and on-chain DEX.
Led by the QED Protocol team, in order to develop doge into the worlds leading memecoin network, QED provides a fully functional ZK Rollup, showing how new opcodes can improve Dogecoins performance to a level comparable to Solana and other high-throughput blockchains. Currently, this proposal is being discussed with the largest mining pool in the Dogecoin ecosystem and has attracted the attention of many well-known cryptographers.
QED founder Carter said that ZK proofs are well suited for chains like Dogecoin, where a million transactions can be verified with proofs smaller than a line of text. In short, this opcode means that Dogecoin can scale without increasing the block size or making any changes that make it more difficult to run nodes.
Carter added: “One of the things about Dogecoin is that it has amassed a lot of attention around the world, which is now reflected in a large community of loyal holders – and of course, memes and dogecoin images.
With the introduction of ZK opcodes and the continued hard work of Dogecoin core developers, the Dogecoin network will become the first PoW secure chain with comparable functionality to blockchains like Ethereum, with the scalability of Solana. Dogecoin is on the verge of a breakthrough.”
Carter also mentioned that the QED team is currently discussing this opcode with Dogecoin mining pools, adding that the ultimate goal is to “make Dogecoin STRONK.”
Finally, Carter said: The QED team is delighted with the support we have received from the Dogecoin community. We are committed to growing the Dogecoin open source ecosystem and helping builders continue to expand the Doge army. We will do everything we can to develop the potential of Dogecoin, and we are proud to be a part of it.

About QED
QED is Bitcoins native execution layer designed to solve the challenges of Web3 développement. With its horizontally scalable architecture, QED completely sidesteps the traditional trade-offs of security and scalability by using its groundbreaking architecture that leverages fast recursive zero-knowledge proofs and a first-of-its-kind PARTH state model that combine to enable scalable Web3 applications such as order book exchanges, as well as trustless Web2-scale applications and games.

Original author: Encryption Dog Last week, the first season of Dragonverse Neo closed beta officially ended. As a new open world game released by the MOBOX team this year, Dragonverse focuses on UGC narrative and the fantasy style of the original god. Although MOBOX is a veteran blockchain game team that has been listed on Binance since 2021, this new game does not retain the flavor of the previous cycle. Instead, it has taken a unique path in terms of style, mechanism and assets. The author experienced it in depth for a week. Although I went for the generous prize pool at the beginning, I actually enjoyed the game in just 7 days. On the last day, when the community opened a room to take a group photo, I was…
